Angie's career as a photographer sprung from her love affair with photography that started as a young girl documenting family vacations. Her work includes people, places and things as she strives to capture the essence of her subject, beyond just what they look like.
Throughout high school and college, Angie worked as a photojournalist for campus publications and, in pursuing her passion for photography, became a member of the Founder's Circle at the Chicago Photography Center in 2003. She joined the Board of Directors in 2004, and from within this community, she's been able to share her passion with newcomers to the art by teaching courses in both darkroom and general photography.
Sharing her passion is also the impetus behind Angie's studio space. A collaboration with two other colleagues, the space not only provides a professionally-equiped lighting studio for her work, but also serves as a unique space to rent out for special occasions.
Angie's work has graced the covers and pages of several calendars, been published in magazines such as Chicago Social, and featured in exhibits throughout Chicago.
